There wasn't thunder that night. Actually, the night was perfectly clear. No traces of a storm. But I can assure you that one was brewing. It would strike hard and powerful, picking up everyone in its path, like a tornado. And my family would be caught up in the middle of it. Maybe that's why my brother had taken my hand and lead me into the night. Because he knew what was coming. His intuition was always spot-on. We sat on the park swings, two blocks away from our small house, the silence hovering over us like a protective umbrella. It kept us safe from the things that we wanted to say, but couldn't. It was our shield. We both knew that the ones needing the umbrella would be the ones at home, where the actual storm would hit. but we didn't say anything. We swung back and forth, back and forth, like the tree branches above uBroken by ~simply-awesome

The sun had set slowly on the happy couple. The hours had gone by slowly. Kagome had already fallen asleep, a small smile on her angelic face. She was enveloped in Inuyasha’s arms, her small, soft body molding into his harder one. He couldn't help the pang that went through his chest every time he looked at her. His arms tightened every time the clock ticked. He didn't want to do it, but he had to. He knew that he would be breaking both their hearts in his attempt at making his father happy. But he would be back. He was sure of that. He could stay away for a year, maybe two, but not forever. His amber eyes burned as they looked at the slumbering treasure curled up in his arms. He would never be able to stay away from her.

SoonThis is a tribute for my neighbor, who committed suicide about two weeks ago. He's fine now because he's in a "better place". His family? Not so much.

There wasn't much for him to say. There wasn't anyone there to listen anyways. As he walked home, he could feel his fingers tremble. He grasped the backpack strap that he had slung over his shoulder and held on tight. He couldn't think about what was coming. He just wanted someone to care. And he was about to meet someone who would. Someone who would embrace him and let him in, someone who would just sit and listen. He nodded to the bus driver, but he was never acknowledged. Stepping out of the bus was easy, it was listening to the fading roar that made it so hard. It was like everything around him. Fading away into something distant and unsure.
Soon, he reminded himself. Soon.
His feet felt heavy, like his heart, but he trudged on. He wondered when it would be time to stop walking. When it would be tiSoon by ~simply-awesome

Yeah...so I was working with a hot glue gun...
And I'm guessing you can put the rest together...
I agree, I'm an idiot...but gosh do glue gun burns hurt!!!!
Anyways, I was pretty happy when I burnt myself because my dad bought me these spider-man band-aids and I wanted to use them sooo bad

But...then I found out that you're not supposed to cover a burn (or so my mom told me)...
SADNESS

Anyways, I'm supposed to be sleeping but I'm scared of popping the blister that has just formed (I move around in my sleep a lot) so I'm gonna' stall for a bit...
I HATE FIRE...
Have I mentioned that before??? Probably not...but yeah, it's one of my least favorite things in the world...and yes, that means that I don't like the sun...
I mean, I like the light it gives us and everything, but I don't like sunny days. I prefer rainy ones

It was hard typing this up 'cause the burn is on my finger -_-I now despise glue guns...
